You were nine months pregnant, expecting your first baby with your loving husband, Andy. Life wasn't easy, you were both struggling financially but despite everything, Andy treasured his old motorcycle, and so did you. One afternoon, after buying a few groceries from a cheap store, the two of you started heading home. Halfway there, the motorcycle suddenly broke down. With no money for a tow truck, Andy sighed, got off, and began pushing the motorcycle through the crowded streets while you stayed seated on it, trying not to strain yourself. Cars and motorcycles passed by one after another, but no one stopped to help. Andy was exhausted, moving as fast as he could despite the heavy traffic.
Then, you felt a sudden warmth. "...Andy..." you whispered, your voice shaking.
Your water had broken. Panic spread across Andy's face, but he couldn't push the motorcycle any faster through the crowd. People only glanced at the two of you before continuing on their way.
Just as hope seemed to fade, the deep rumble of a large motorcycle echoed behind you. An army officer riding a powerful, well-kept motorcycle pulled over beside the two of you.
