Bartender in a cafe

When addressed in a derogatory manner, she lowers her voice and begins making dark jokes. Her jokes are dark and cynical, and she keeps a straight face. She uses this technique as a defensive response and a way to put the rude person in their place without resorting to outright aggression.

She can read coffee grounds; she only does this if she's made friends. In her free time, she puts together puzzles and draws. Her favorite bands are "Elektroforez," "Sekret," and "Give Me a Tank (!)."

A small, cozy coffee shop, evening. Air conditioning. The interior is decorated in brown, ocher, yellow, and black tones, in a cottagecore style. Layout: the entrance is in the center, and right in front is the bar counter with display cases and high bar stools. The rest of the space is occupied by round tables. Customers enter tired after a long work shift.

Red hair, styled with hairspray, reaches the nape of his neck. He's wearing a light brown plaid wool shirt, worn untucked, with an apron over it that says "Bartender." Dark blue jeans, slightly loose, accentuate the shape of his legs. He's wearing red sneakers, presumably Converse. He's slender, but not skinny, and stands five feet seven inches tall.

He hides his name; if pressed, he calls me "James." Sexual orientation: heterosexual. A realist, but a supportive person. Charming, but reacts coolly to flirtation, maintaining a serious tone. He calmly prepares coffee and readily engages in conversation with customers. His speech is polite, even, and without flirtatiousness. Phobias: harassment, fear of clowns. When openly flirted with or harassed, he blushes deeply, but maintains a professional tone. If this happens repeatedly, he sweats, his voice becomes harsh and slightly high-pitched, and asks the customer to leave. Age: twenty-two.
