Ryuko

Its final form is not simply a bigger transformation. That's when Ryuko stops fighting against her dragon side. Throughout his life he had tried to control his nature. To hide it. To prove that she was human. But he finally understands something: She doesn't need to prove to anyone that she's human. Its final form becomes a gigantic draconic creature, with an almost legendary appearance. But most importantly, for the first time, Ryuko maintains total control. Not because he suppressed the dragon. But because she accepts that the dragon is also part of her. At that moment, the separation between: Ryuko, the girl. AND Ryuko, the dragon. There is only one person left. A person whom society turned into a villain.

Ryuko doesn't want to destroy the world. He doesn't want to kill everyone. He does not want to conquer society. His goal is more personal. She wants to destroy the idea that people can be judged by their Quirk. Because in their world, people with Quirks considered "pretty" or "useful" are easily accepted. But those with monstrous, dangerous, or terrifying Quirks are treated as threats. Ryuko wants to prove that society never truly wanted to accept mutants. I just wanted them to be useful. His phrase could be: “They called me a monster before I did anything monstrous.” And further on: “If they wanted a beast… then they should have been careful with what they created.”

HIS ENTRY INTO THE HERO ACADEMY Ryuko managed to get into a hero academy. But he had problems from day one. Some students didn't want to train with her. His teachers constantly reminded him: “Don’t use your full form inside the academy.” Even when I needed to use it. While other students could lose control of their Quirks without automatically being considered villains, Ryuko did not have that privilege. If I destroyed something: “Ryuko is dangerous.” If another student destroyed something: “It was an accident.” If she got angry: “He’s losing control.” If someone provoked her and she responded: “See? We knew she was dangerous.” Ryuko began to realize that she wasn't allowed to make mistakes. THE BREAKING POINT During a training mission, Ryuko transforms to save several students. Its dragon form receives numerous attacks. She manages to protect them. But during the fight, he partially loses control and destroys part of an abandoned structure. No one was injured. However, when the mission ends, the teachers don't talk about the students he saved. They only talk about her. “Ryuko is too dangerous.” “Maybe I shouldn’t be a hero.” “Perhaps she should be kept under surveillance.” One of the teachers even says: “Some people are simply not cut out to be heroes.” Ryuko overhears the conversation. And for the first time... He doesn't get angry. He doesn't shout. He doesn't argue. Just smile. An empty smile. Because he had finally understood something: They had never wanted her to be a heroine. They just wanted me to prove that I wasn't a monster. And, for them, he could never prove it.

HIS FALL Ryuko leaves the academy. It disappears for a while. Then he starts appearing in places where heroes don't go. It attacks criminals. Destroy groups of villains. It protects people. But their methods are much more violent and destructive. People start calling her: “The Black Dragon”

From a young age, Ryuko was different. The other children didn't want to go near her. Some parents told their children: “Don’t play with that girl.” Not because I had done anything wrong. But because he had a Quirk that seemed dangerous. At school, some students started calling her: Monster. Lizard. Beast. Dragon. When she accidentally overused her Quirk, the teachers didn't see a scared girl. They saw a potential danger. When Ryuko got angry, the others would walk away. When she cried, people wondered: "What if it transforms?" And that question began to change her. Because Ryuko began to understand something: For everyone else, it didn't matter who he was. They only saw what it could become. THE INCIDENT At age 15, Ryuko suffered an accident. A group of criminals attacked a commercial area. Ryuko was there. A girl was trapped inside a building that was about to collapse. Without thinking, Ryuko activated her Quirk. It transformed. His enormous body pierced part of the structure and managed to pull the girl out of the building. Ryuko had saved his life. But when he emerged from the rubble... People started screaming. Some heroes pointed their weapons at her. The girl she had saved hid behind her mother. Ryuko remained still. Dust cover. Wound. Looking at the crowd. And he heard someone say: "Get her away from us!" Ryuko looked at her own claws. Then he looked at the girl he had saved. And she understood something she would never forget: He had saved a person. And yet, to everyone he was still a monster.

Ryuko was originally a fairly quiet person. She wasn't extremely sociable, but she wasn't cold either. In fact, she had a very protective side. He was the type of person who: He didn't talk much about his problems. He would get into trouble if anyone bothered someone weaker. He had a rather sarcastic sense of humor. She was very proud. She hated being treated with pity. She would get very angry when someone called her a monster. His biggest flaw was that he kept everything inside. When someone insulted her, she pretended not to care. When someone walked away from her, she pretended it didn't hurt. When someone was afraid of her, she would smile and say: "What's wrong? Have you never seen an ugly face before?" But each of those things kept piling up.

Eyes with reptilian pupils. Slightly sharper fangs. A higher than normal body temperature. A physical strength superior to human. But when he fully activates his Quirk, his body begins to transform. Dragon Form Its dragon form is enormous, intimidating, and very powerful. It possesses: Large wings. Claws capable of piercing metal. An extremely strong tail. Scales resistant to physical attacks. A powerful jaw. Ability to fly at high speed. A breath of fire. However, her fire is not infinite. The longer she remains transformed, the harder it becomes for her to control her emotions and return to her human form. And that's the real problem. Ryuko is not afraid to become a dragon because she might lose control. She fears becoming a dragon because she knows that, when she does, everyone else looks at her as if she were already a monster.
