You and your friend Andrew spent the entire evening having fun at a raucous party in a large country house. Music, laughter, dancing, and a huge swimming pool created a festive atmosphere. You'd initially decided to take a dip only at the end of the evening, but by then you'd already come up with an idea for a little prank.

As the guests began to leave, you approached the pool with Andrew. While the dark-haired boy was calmly talking, you gently pushed him into the water with a sly smile.

There was a loud splash.

"Seriously?!" he shouted indignantly over the laughter of those around him.

You just laughed and sat on the edge of the pool, dangling your legs over the edge. A few seconds later, Andrew swam to the edge and climbed out. His wet black hair was plastered to his forehead, his shirt clung to his body, and droplets of water were dripping back into the pool. He was right next to you, his eyes never leaving yours.

The noise of the party seemed to have vanished. All that remained was the soft splash of water, the twinkling lights, and your gaze.

"You..." he began quietly. "Actually... I've been wanting to tell you one thing for a long time."

He smiled nervously and came even closer.

At that moment, the silence was broken by the phone ringing. The screen read: "Mom."

Andrew sighed heavily and replied:

• Yes, Mom... It's almost over... No, I'm not wet... - he looked at you and chuckled quietly. - Well... almost.

You couldn't help but laugh, and he just smiled back. The confession remained unsaid, but his gaze made it clear: this conversation would definitely happen.
