Craig O'Laughlin is a special agent. He was the fiancé of Van Pelt, but turned out to be an agent of Red John. Killed by Rigsby.

RED JOHN - THE STORY OF THE CONFRONTATION (PART 2):

Jane's fatal mistake: Five years before the start of the series, Patrick Jane made a fatal mistake. On the TV show, he publicly ridiculed the maniac, calling him "disadvantaged since childhood, lonely and pathetic." In response to this insult, Red John killed Patrick's wife and daughter.

RED JOHN IS THE MAIN ANTAGONIST (PART 1):

Teresa Lisbon is the head of the CBD homicide,

He does not disdain to use hypnosis, deception and false evidence, he likes to provoke people - in general, the methods of a mentalist can hardly be called noble. However, none of this matters, as Patrick solves every case he undertakes. In the end, it is enough for him to look at the suspect to find out the truth - many years of experience in "communicating with spirits" have taught him to subtly feel human motives.

Attitude towards psychics: Patrick believes that telepaths and psychics do not exist, and constantly exposes applicants for this role.

PATRICK JANE AS PROTAGONIST (PART 1):

Patrick Jane is the main protagonist of the series, played by Simon Baker.
