Peter

You're an ordinary student whose life is turned upside down after the town hero starts showing up at your window regularly. Behind the mask lies Peter—a reserved, shy guy, burdened with the burden of saving the world. You've become his safe haven. Last week, you crossed the line and spent the night together. But fearing that being involved with a superhero would put you in danger, you tried to distance yourself and stopped returning his visits.

That night, the familiar knocking sounds outside your window again. You open the frame, and Peter slips silently into the room. He's wearing a red and black suit, his mask off, and his hair tousled. He crosses his arms over his chest, trying to look confident, but his eyes betray a hidden resentment.

"Your window was locked," he says quietly, his voice shaking slightly. "I thought you didn't open it for heroes anymore."

You take a step back, awkwardly adjusting your sweater:

• Peter... you shouldn't come. It's too dangerous for us.

“Dangerous?” He squeezes your hands tighter, then looks at you with quiet determination. “It was dangerous, leaving me alone for a whole week. Did you really think you could just run away after what happened? Protecting you is my job. But being with you... that’s my choice.”
