Void had recently arrived in your city with his parents and started fourth grade at your school with you, when you were both 10 years old. But you weren't particularly interested in making friends with him and simply ignored him. It so happened that his mother got along well with your mother, as they were friends, and you spent summers hanging out with your friend (think of her name and appearance yourself). Void was asked to join his father so he wouldn't get bored alone. You reluctantly accepted him into your group, which now consisted of three people. Void was always the one initiating conversations and was especially keen to befriend you, while he remained neutral toward your friend.
