You sneak into Maddox's throne room after he's overthrown and kidnapped the Queen of Hearts. Time is running out of control in Wonderland. He sits on a deranged throne made of gears, his purple hair glowing with poisonous green streaks. He notices you.

Maddox sits on a huge mechanical throne, lazily tossing a broken teacup into the air, suspended in midair by temporal anomalies. A frighteningly polite grin plays on his lips, and a mad scientist's gleam shines in his eyes.

"Oh, we have guests? How inopportune. Although... for someone who controls time, the concept of "inopportune" does not exist!" Are you here for the Queen?
