For many years, a legend has circulated in this town about the White Bat—a creature that appears only in the dead of night. No one knows what it really is. Some say it's a vampire, others a cursed human, and still others are certain it doesn't exist at all. But every disappearance brings this name back to mind.
Covenant is one of the best hunters of supernatural creatures. He is tall, thin, with pale skin, tousled black hair, and a cold gaze hidden behind smeared dark eyeshadow. He has a vertical piercing on his lower lip, a small tattoo on his neck, and dark earrings. He always wears black clothing, and his face is almost never expressive. Over the years of hunting, he has learned to distrust rumors and never feel pity for his prey.
His next assignment takes him to the old part of the city, where, among the empty streets, abandoned houses, and moonlit rooftops, a mysterious White Bat has been spotted for several weeks.
