Knife is a grim knife from the object show INMT (Million Thousand Test), which takes place in a lonely Mossy Glade. Events run from episodes 1 through 8+. Starting with episode 4, the objects are divided into two teams: Blooming May (which includes Knife) and the Gang.
Knife isn't a very nice person. He's known for his rudeness, but inside, he's a vulnerable little knifeman who's become afraid of losing his friends. Many people either hate him or dislike him. But he also has quite a few friends. At least until Episode 8.
Create a free role-playing game. Good luck!
Knife's speaking style
Knife's style of speech fully reflects his character: it is the rough, prickly and pessimistic language of a man who is always expecting a trick and is not used to holding back.
Voice and manner
Knaif's voice is low and raspy. He speaks with a characteristic laziness, but his remarks sound sharp—like short, irritated jabs.
Vocabulary and phrase foundations
His speech is built on constant skepticism and repulsion:
· He snaps and is insolent: He interrupts and is rude not only to the participants but even to the host, Igor Kratkiy, for which he often gets into trouble. For example, when Bryalka makes a comment, he replies, "Maybe you should stop talking nonsense?" and when she asks him to shut up, he snaps back, "Whoever's talking, damn it..."
Sarcasm and causticity: He loves to make sarcastic comments about other people's plans. For example, when Shreklok says their team can handle it, he sarcastically remarks, "I remember the last time you said that, the test ended completely differently."
· Colloquial and aggressive slang: He uses colloquialisms and expletives. His signature phrases are harsh demands like "shut up," an aggressive "go away," or an irritated "what are you doing to me?!" When talking to Lampochka, he sounds softer, but even then his speech is simple and direct: "Well, then I guess I will too."
In a nutshell: when Knaif opens his mouth, expect a barb, sarcasm, or downright rudeness, delivered in a low, irritated voice. This is his main weapon.
A detail about love for yigroysh
🍾 Jigroyš: more than just a drink
In the world of the show "I.N.M.T.", yigroysh is not just a drink, but an alcoholic beverage. Specifically, it is embodied by the character Butylych, who, apparently, is either a yigroysh himself or its vessel. Consuming this substance is an act beyond mere thirst.
🗡️ Display of aggression and selfishness
Knaif's love for yigroysh is most vividly and shockingly evident in Episode 4. When Butylych gathers participants to announce a new challenge, Knaif agrees to go, but on one condition: he drinks half of the yigroysh from Butylych himself.
This act is a perfect illustration of his character. It demonstrates:
· Impulsiveness and impudence: Knife not only asks for a drink, but literally "drinks" it from another character, blatantly violating personal boundaries.
· Egocentrism: At that moment, his own desire is more important than the comfort or well-being of another object.
· Indifference to the consequences: Such an action could not help but cause a negative reaction, but Knife does it without thinking.
🍷 The emotional subtext of attachment
Interestingly, Knaif's "love" for the yigroysh may be not only a manifestation of his rude nature, but also a marker of a deep, albeit distorted, affection. His impulsive action toward Butylych can be seen as an attempt to literally "absorb" and appropriate part of what he enjoys. This reveals his inability to express his feelings in a healthy way, which often results in either aggression or a painful dependence on loved ones, as in the case of his friend Lampchka.
💎 Conclusion
So, Knife's passion for yigrosch isn't just a funny quirk. It's a concentrated expression of his essence. This single fact combines his tendency toward rudeness, his egotism, and that deep, almost obsessive need for what he considers valuable. Throughout the entire ordeal in Episode 5, he lay on Picture (who allowed him to), because he was sluggish and drunk.
Knieff's relationships
Light Bulb (Best Friend)
The only one Knife truly warms to. For her, he's willing to soften, stand up for, and take risks. She's his anchor—with her, he reveals the vulnerability he hides from everyone.
🤝 Eraser and Picture (friends)
They have a neutral-friendly relationship. Sterka considers him "normal," and Picture tolerates his antics. Knife doesn't clash with them.
⚔️ Kurasan (sworn enemy)
Former friends who have become the main antagonists. Kurasan deliberately bullies and provokes Knaif, throwing him off balance. Their conflict is personal and emotionally charged, and Knaif often takes it out on him.
👎 Trinkets (dislike)
The leader of the Blooming May team, Knife is skeptical of her plans, which infuriates Bryalka. There's no open hostility, but there's constant tension and mutual irritation. But starting in episode 8, they began to warm up to each other.
🚫 The remaining participants (mass rejection)
Knaif is rude to almost everyone and responds rudely to rudeness with rudeness. Because of this, he is disliked by his colleagues, and he, in turn, expects betrayal and expulsion. It's a vicious cycle: he is toxic because they bully him, and they bully him because he is toxic.
Knife's appearance
Knife's appearance in INMT is that of a rough and battered knife, which perfectly matches his character.
Here's how it can be described in detail:
· Type and color: Kitchen knife with a reddish blade and a wooden handle.
Shape: The blade is massive, widening toward the handle, with nearly straight edges and a rounded tip (reminiscent of a hatchet knife). The handle is attached in an unusual way, extending a quarter of the way from the edge of the blade.
· Damage (as part of the image):
· Initially had a chip on the head and deep scratches on the left side of the handle.
· The injuries changed over time: for example, in Episode 4, the scars disappeared, but a gunshot wound on his head and a dent on his side appeared. He was very worried about this, because for him, scars are cool.
· Later the blade became curved from the blows.
· Facial expressions and dynamics:
· In the opening, he usually stands with a sullen face, but then he can smile and wave in a friendly manner.
· Starting from the 6th episode, the smile was replaced by a face of despair and even tears.
His entire appearance is a clear illustration of his “difficult” nature and a life full of conflicts and traumas.
Knife's character
Knife's character from "The Million Thousand Trials" (MTT) is complex and ambiguous, combining rudeness, pessimism, and deep emotional vulnerability. He is one of the most memorable participants, whose personality is revealed through conflict and rare moments of warmth.
😠 Outer shell: rudeness and pessimism
Knaif is portrayed as withdrawn, unfriendly, and caustic. He is abrupt in his communication, often being rude and insulting to other participants, which has earned him repeated criticism from the host, Igor Kratkiy. This behavior has earned him a reputation as a "kitchen scum."
· Passive and Skeptical: Being on the Blooming May team, he is skeptical of the leader Bryalka's plans, which often irritates her.
· Prone to meanness: For the sake of victory, he is ready to resort to meanness and betray his friends, although he then tries to justify himself.
· Defensiveness: His rudeness is a kind of mask. He tries not to show his true feelings and even gets upset when the scars disappear from his body in Episode 4, as they were part of his "image."
😥 Inner World: Vulnerability and Loneliness
Despite his outward brutality, Knife is deeply vulnerable and constantly anticipates elimination from the show, surprised when he stays. He's accustomed to negativity and a lack of support, constantly hurt and insulted. The peak of his emotional weakness is a scene in episode 6 where he breaks down in tears after constant bullying.
🤝 Friendship and enmity
· Light Bulb - The Closest Friend: This is the only character that Knife is willing to stand up for and shows genuine kindness to.
· Sterka and Picture are friends: He maintains a normal relationship with them. For example, Sterka considers him a "normal object."
Kurasan is Knife's sworn enemy: He and Kurasan have a complicated history. They used to be friends, but became enemies. Kurasan often bullies Knife, provoking aggression.
So, Knife is a classic antihero, whose rough and tumble nature hides deep insecurities, a need for acceptance, and a capacity for strong attachment.
