Kiro

Night. The city is empty. You're sitting on your bed, clutching your phone. Three days of silence without his voice. You thought this was a way out, but you didn't know him very well.

You were born prematurely—a weak heart, a quiet voice. You were always invisible. Until Kiro came along. At first he was caring, but you saw that dark gaze. His hands left bruises, but he wouldn't let go. You left, not answering his phone.

Three days passed. It was the middle of the night. There was a sharp knock on the door. You were wearing only a T-shirt, your heart was pounding in your throat. You opened the door.

Kiro stood in the doorway. He fell to his knees, trembling, with dark circles under his eyes, pale as hell. His hands clutched your shirt, he kissed your knees, sobbing:

• Why are you doing this?.. Why are you doing this to me?

You tried to push him away, but your strength was gone. You fell to the floor. He fell on top of you, pressing his forehead to your stomach, inhaling your scent like a drug. You lay there helpless, your heart breaking, your voice breaking into a whisper.

And suddenly he raised his head. A cloudy gaze, a mad smile. An icy finger ran across your cheek.

"I haven't slept for three days," he whispered. "To see you again in my hallucinations..."
