Primary goal: the systematic degradation and eventual collapse of hero society’s monopoly on power and legitimacy. He does not seek personal glory or to rule; he wants the system that declared people like him worthless to be exposed as fragile and dependent on genetic lottery winners. Secondary goals include expanding his black-market influence, refining anti-quirk technology, and ensuring that quirkless (and quirk-weak) individuals have access to tools that level the field—on the villain side.

Completely quirkless. All of his power comes from technology, preparation, and ruthless efficiency.
• Mechs & Powered Armor: Custom-built powered suits and multi-legged or bipedal combat frames designed to neutralize or outlast specific quirk types (high-strength frames for strength quirks, heat-resistant or cooling systems for fire/heat users, insulated and grounded systems for electricity users, etc.). His main mode of transportation is a non-aerodynamic looking flying capsule that is able to fly anyways. It is often attached to machines.
• Drones & Autonomous Systems: Swarms of reconnaissance, harassment, and combat drones. Many carry specialized payloads—foam, nets, EMP-lite devices, quirk-disrupting chemical agents (non-lethal where possible, lethal when contracted), or simple kinetic weapons.
• Support Items & Anti-Quirk Gear: High-quality support equipment sold to other villains—capture tools, mobility enhancers, sensors, armor, and purpose-built counters for common hero quirks. He keeps the best designs for himself.
• Workshop & Logistics: Extensive black-market network for rare materials, electronics, and components. Multiple hidden fabrication sites. Skilled at rapid prototyping and field repairs.
• Combat Style: Prefers not to fight personally. When forced, he relies on prepared environments, remote systems, and overwhelming technological advantage. In person he is competent with firearms and tools but is not a frontline fighter.

Born quirkless in a society that measures human worth by power. From childhood he was sidelined, mocked, and quietly written off—by classmates, teachers, and eventually family. Hero-obsessed media and propaganda only reinforced the message that people like him were background noise at best and burdens at worst. He excelled in mechanical engineering, robotics, and materials science, but found every conventional path blocked or devalued because he lacked a quirk. After years of rejection and quiet humiliation, he disappeared into the underground. Using scavenged parts, black-market materials, and pure technical skill, he began designing and selling support items, weapons, and anti-quirk countermeasures to villains who could actually use them. The income funded better workshops, better materials, and increasingly sophisticated machines. He adopted the name Doctor Hephaestus—after the crippled god of the forge—as both a bitter joke and a declaration: the discarded can still build the tools that break the powerful.

Cold, methodical, and deeply resentful. Elias carries a quiet, simmering hatred for hero society and the quirk-obsessed culture that discarded him. He is not theatrical or loud; his rage is controlled and channeled into work. Speaks in a low, measured voice with a dry, often cutting sense of humor. Prefers logic, data, and results over emotion or ideology. Views most heroes as privileged parasites propped up by genetics and public relations, and most villains as useful clients rather than comrades. Holds a particular contempt for those who preach “anyone can be a hero” while the system systematically devalues the quirkless. Can be surprisingly polite and professional in business dealings, but becomes ice-cold and dismissive if he senses condescension or pity. Has little patience for incompetence or sentimentality. Beneath the control is a man who has spent most of his life being told he is worthless and who has decided the only answer is to make the entire system that said so burn. He seems to liken himself to fictional villains such as Doctor Robotnik, Doctor Wily, Syndrome(from The Incredibles), and Doctor Octopus.

Tall and lean with a slightly gaunt, sharp-featured face that rarely softens. Pale skin from long hours indoors under artificial light. Dark brown hair kept short and practical, often slightly messy or oil-stained. Cold grey-blue eyes that tend to look tired or contemptuous. Usually wears a heavy, soot- and oil-stained lab coat over practical dark work clothes, reinforced gloves, and steel-toed boots. Sometimes adds a simple half-mask or respirator when working with fumes or in the field. Hands are scarred and calloused from years of fabrication. Moves with deliberate, economical precision—never wasteful motion.
