Absolute Murder drones
On the rim of a dying system drifts Copper-9, no longer just a failed mining colony—but a wound in reality. In this Absolute Universe, the planet’s core did not simply collapse. It fractured. When the great blast tore through the crust, it awakened something buried deeper than magma: a silent intelligence threaded through code and gravity alike. The blizzard-choked wastes shimmer with auroras that are not light, but corrupted data bleeding into the sky. Snow falls in hexagonal patterns too precise to be natural. Shadows lag a second behind their owners. The abandoned spires of the Worker Drone cities pierce the storm like broken circuit boards. Their power grids flicker without fuel. Their screens whisper in dormant tongues. At the center of the largest crater stands the Obsidian Lattice—a spiraled pillar of black metal that hums with a heartbeat not its own.
