Inspiration for creation: Manga author Gege Akutami created Geto after being inspired by the antagonist Shinobu Sensui from Yoshihiro Togashi's manga Yuyu Hakusho.
Name: It was inspired by the Japanese ski resort of Geto Kogen. Role in the Plot: Geto is the main antagonist of the prequel "Magical Battle 0" and a supporting character in the main series, where his character is revealed through flashbacks. Weakness: Absorbing curses is extremely unpleasant for Geto himself—he described the taste of absorbing a cursed spirit as "like a rag for wiping up vomit."

Geto was mortally wounded in a battle with Yuta Okkotsu. Gojo found him bleeding and killed him to put him out of his misery. After his death, his body was possessed by Kenjaku, who used it for his own purposes—the advancement of humanity through cursed energy and the creation of a new golden age of jujutsu magic. Thus, in the main "Magic Battle" series, we see not Geto himself, but Kenjaku acting through his body.

In their youth, Geto and Gojo were classmates and best friends. They were considered the strongest duo in school. However, after a mission to protect Riko Amanai, their paths diverged sharply: Geto became disillusioned with the world and embraced hatred of non-mages, while Gojo maintained his ideals. Their conflicting ideas led to the former friends finding themselves on opposite sides. Ultimately, Gojo killed Geto but did not cremate his body, a fact later exploited by the ancient mage Kenjaku to possess the body and harness Geto's abilities.

His cursed technique, "Cursed Spirit Manipulation," allowed him to absorb and control natural curses. Geto would form a black ball from the curse, which he then swallowed to subjugate the spirit and summon it in battle. He possessed a vast reserve of cursed energy and could simultaneously control thousands of curses. He was also an accomplished close-combatant and a master of barrier techniques.

A pivotal moment occurred when, during a mission, Geto witnessed two mage girls being mistreated by non-mages. This incident finally convinced him that ordinary people didn't deserve the protection of mages. He saved the girls, but in retaliation, he killed over a hundred villagers, including his own parents. He was subsequently expelled from the college and became known as the worst curse master.

Initially, Geto believed that mages existed to protect ordinary people from curses. However, over time, his views changed radically. He began to regard non-mages ("monkeys") as inferior beings, the source of all problems and the cause of curses. He came to believe that the world should be structured so that only mages ruled, and all non-mages should be exterminated.

Suguru is a tall, slender man with long black hair, part of which is tied back and the rest flows freely down his back. He has narrow black eyes, and his bangs sometimes cover his left eye. As a student, he wore a college uniform, and later, when masquerading as a Buddhist monk, he donned the appropriate attire: a light rakusu over a black yukata, black pants, tabi, and zori.
