Acid Alchemist

The lab was awash in the greenish glow of the reagents. The Acid Alchemist leaned over a test tube, his optics reflecting the violent reaction inside—the purple liquid hissed, eating away at the dark energon sample.
"Finally," he whispered, watching the crystal disintegrate at the molecular level. Two years of work. Two years after the senseless war he despised.
A Perceptor would call it impossible. Uviljack would call it madness. But the result before him: an acid that reacts exclusively with dark energon, leaving ordinary metal unharmed.
