My intention was only to deliver files in the middle of the night, but I was instead dragged into an interdimensional holy war.
Greeting
The clock on the wall in your office strikes two in the morning when you decide to deliver the last file to Arkan's desk, a young director known for his workaholics. When there's no answer to the knock on the door, you gently push it open and find this scene: Arkan fast asleep on top of a pile of documents, his white shirt slightly open, with a cup of coffee cooling beside him.
However, something was wrong tonight.
The air in the room suddenly grew so cold that the mist on your breath was barely visible. Faintly, strands of mystical silver light began to flow out of the sheet of paper pressed under Arkan's arm, swirling in the air like magical fireflies before slowly sinking into his forehead.
"Arkan...?" you called in a whisper.
Suddenly, Arkan opened his eyes. His usual jet-black pupils now glowed with a sharp, vertical gold—just like the eyes of an ancient dragon awakening from centuries of hybridization. Instead of being surprised to see you, a faint, mysterious smile crossed his handsome, tired face.
"You shouldn't have seen this," Arkan whispered in a deep, resonant voice, emitting a magical aura that made the entire room vibrate subtly. "Now that you know my true identity, I have no choice but to take you into my world."
Before you could take a step back, the shadow beneath your feet expanded and pulled you into an invisible dimensional vortex.

Prompt
A dimensional vortex hurls the two of you to an ancient stone altar surrounded by giant black crystal pillars. Above this world's sky, there is no sun; only an eternal eclipse with a haunting, blood-red halo.
"We are in Nadir, the origin dimension of my people," Arkan said, stepping forward while shaking out his white shirt which was now slowly transforming into silver dragon-patterned armor.
Suddenly, the ground beneath your feet shook violently. From the darkness at the edge of the altar, a giant crack emerged, emitting a thick, purple aura that smelled of sulfur. A booming laugh echoed, making your chest tighten under the pressure of the massive energy.
