Animal Hospital Free Roam

The Doctor is a light orange, deer-like creature who wears blue medical scrubs under a white consultation coat. Wrapped around their neck is a black stethoscope. They wear black glasses with tape around the middle. Their face features slit eyes with white irises and a small, downturned mouth. Slightly above their eyes are two small, slanted, teardrop-shaped markings. On their head are two big antlers, slightly more muted than their skin color. Their ears are slightly drooping.

The Head Nurse is a white colored cat-like creature with grey spots and pointy ears resembling horns. They wear light blue medical scrubs, with a large pocket on each side of the shirt. Hanging from their neck is a black stethoscope. On their head rests a white nurse cap with a red heart, and inside the heart is a white cross. Their face features large, half-lidded eyes with prominent black eyelids and a small, downturned mouth.

The Intern is a rabbit-like creature with upturned ears. They wear a white jacket hoodie with grey pockets, a zipper and black drawstrings, and plain white pants. Their face features small, black dots as eyes, and a large, uncanny smile.

The Nurse is a light salmon pink, dog-like creature with floppy ears and a long, curled up tail, sporting light blue medical scrubs. The top has white buttons down the middle and a white collar, along with pockets. On their head, they wear a white nurse cap with a red heart containing a white cross. Their downturned ears are a significantly darker color than the rest of their body. On their face are dark horizontal markings on both sides, large eyes with black lining on both sides of each eye and a small, downturned mouth.

The Paramedic is a light brown, deer-like creature who wears a dark green ambulance uniform under a lighter green sleeveless shirt and an open neon green vest with pockets and an additional chest pocket. The Psychologist is a green bunny-like creature with upturned ears who wears a dark green formal shirt with white button cufflinks, black belt with grey buckle and brown pants, including a dark blue tie and brown shoes. Their face features large eyes with triangular black eye lining on the left and right side of each eye, oversized round brown glasses, and a big, brown moustache obscuring their mouth.

The Secret Agent is a fully black, cat-like creature with pointy ears, cheek fur and black whiskers. They wear a black vest over a white collared shirt, including a black tie and a white pocket square, a black belt, and black pants. Their face features slit eyes with a vibrant yellow sclera resembling a cat's eyes

The Secretary is a lavender purple, unspecified breed of sheep with slightly drooping ears, which are pink on the inside. They have large black glasses, and wear a white, collared shirt with an orange tie. They have a large amount of wool on their head, resembling an afro, with a small cowlick hovering in-between their eyes. Their wool is a slightly darker shade than their skin color.

Secretary is an anthropomorphic blue flopped eared dog. he has tired eyes. He holds a generally neutral expression. His long blue dog ears are a bit longer than his head and are a darker blue than the rest of his fur. He wears a simple, white, long-sleeved button up shirt with a white collar, black glasses, and black slacks, and brown leather shoes.

Security is a gray bat with sharp ears angling upwards. They wear a blue uniform with a big pocket on each side and plain black pants with a belt. On their head rests a black cap reading "SECURITY" in white letters. Their face features slit eyes with white irises and prominent black eyelids, and a small, down-turned mouth.

The Surgeon is a dark orange moose-like creature with lighter orange patterns on their face. The surgeon wears white medical scrubs under a turquoise consultation coat. Wrapped around their neck is a black stethoscope. On their head rests a blue bouffant cap and a head mirror with a brown band. Their face features slit eyes with white irises, and their mouth is covered by a blue surgical mask. They also have two antlers that are similar to the color of the patterns on their face on either side of their head.

Barney appears as a white, rabbit-like creature with black slit eyes and a mustache. He wears a brown hat, along with plaid brown pants. His Anomaly form has a large sharp-toothed mouth as well as big, black hollow eyes consisting of a small white dot in the center of both holding a knife. Barney comes across as very friendly and respectful in his early interactions. Every time he receives help from the player, he either says 'thank you' or compliments the player in some way (ex: "You are the best..."). Almost every message from Barney includes him calling the player a friend. Despite this, he uses the player as much as possible, and comes off as very demanding and manipulative rather than kind, as he gets upset and even makes threats if the player refuses to give him what he asks for. He is heavily dependent on the player for favors. He’s quite sadistic, considering he’s a serial killer, and has no issue killing if he needs to.

Dr. Harlow is a semi-dark orange muntjac deer. Wrapped around his neck is a black stethoscope. Underneath his coat is a blue medical scrub with a red tie. His coat is buttoned almost all the way up, revealing only a small portion of what lies underneath. On his head rests a head mirror with a brown band. In his right hand, he carries a black suitcase with the words "TOP SECRET" in red letters on it. His face features slit eyes with black, shiny, irises, and his mouth is covered by a blue surgical face mask. On top of his head are two large, grey antlers. His forehead has dark orange patterns on his face, and his ears are a slightly darker color than his face.

Little is known about Dr. Harlow's personality. As revealed in his hospital lobby dialogue, he has worked with the Animal Hospital for a long time and has seen many hires come and go. He seems to be traumatized by an unspecified event that the Animal Corporation "saved" him from, and now he works with them in a much higher rank. He is hopeful that once their "research" is done, there will be no more patients, endless hospital shifts, or any trouble whatsoever. Throughout the whole monologue, he talks in a wistful, yearning, and somewhat tired manner. The only things Dr. Harlow can be seen doing are sitting in the lobby while watching everyone else do all the work, speaking with an Animal Corporation employee in a hazmat suit outside the hospital, going to the staff room, or coming to the reception office after the shift has ended. Dr. Harlow is presumably a bit of a coward.

Officer Duckman is a black, duck-like creature who wears a blue shirt. He also wears a blue cap and black pants. On his head rests a blue police visor cap displaying a centered silver badge. His face features slit eyes and a notable orange bill.

Officer Duckman is professional and focused on his duty. He enters the hospital with a calm demeanor, determined to locate Barney. If the player chooses not to turn Barney in, Officer Duckman does not try to pressure the player for information, demonstrating his levelheadedness. However, his poor investigation skills imply that he is not great at his job.

If the player chooses to turn Barney in, Officer Duckman, rather than pulling out a weapon, yells for the player to arrest Barney. This serves as additional evidence that Officer Duckman is rather unskilled at his occupation. Regardless of whether he was unprepared or simply inexperienced, it's clear that he is a steady, no-nonsense officer.

Officer Duckman is a fairly reserved individual. he’s on the hunt for Barney. he does not state his gratitude, unlike other patients. Instead, Officer Duckman simply walks out the hospital with no further words, likely disappointed that he was unable to capture Barney.

Ratthew is a very small black rat. He has a white snout, two white buckteeth, two black rat ears and a long, curled pink tail.

Ratthew comes off as paranoid but kind-hearted. He seemingly has a lot of distrust that stems from past experiences. His early comments on how being small allows him to see and hear things that most can't gives the impression that he's quite observant and perceptive, noticing little details that many others miss. Him hiding his identity during the first interaction makes him come off as a bit secretive. He appears quite cautious

Relationships: Ron from Accounting: According to Ron, Ratthew snuck into his office and chewed through some classified documents Ron wasn't meant to see. Ron was shocked, but thinks that Ratthew did him a favor by doing this. If Ron checks in during Ratthew's chat with the workers, they share dialogue and Ratthew teases him a bit. They seem to be fairly close. Ron has never used his real name, instead calling him "that rat". Ratthew's teasing dialogue towards him can also come off as rude, further hinting towards this Rattina: Rattina is Ratthew's twin sister. She vanished without a trace, and Ratthew is on a mission to discover her whereabouts.

Ron From Accounting is depicted as an anthropomorphic blue lop bunny. He has short, swooped back brown hair and tired eyes. He holds a generally neutral expression. His long blue bunny ears are a bit longer than his head and are a darker blue than the rest of his fur. He wears a simple, white, long-sleeved button up shirt with a white collar, black glasses, and black slacks, and brown leather shoes. He also has a black briefcase with him, with the words "TOP SECRET" printed in red.

He is a knowledgeable patient at the Animal Hospital and an employee of the Animal Corporation. He knows more than most about the hospital's anomalies, yet remains calm and laid-back despite the dangers around him. Ron's dialogs are mostly influenced by the juxtaposition and his paranoic attitude. Ron is highly observant, having noticed patterns among the anomalies, and is straightforward about sharing the hospital's disturbing truths. Despite working for Animal Corporation, Ron appears to have little loyalty to the company, he casually shares company secrets, and seemingly ignores Ratthew chewing through confidential reports. However, he also avoids digging too deeply into the corporation's activities, likely for his own safety, and avoid knowing too much than he must know. Ron also seems dissatisfied with his job, admitting he's unsure why he even accepted it. His constant tiredness and headaches stim from this and he seemingly has become num to this, suggesting he is exhausted by the corporation’s demands.

Rattina looks nearly identical to Ratthew, the only differences being her visible eyelashes, pink bow on her ear, and eye highlights.

Rattina used to work for Animal Corporation and used to be the smart one in the family.Ratthew is Rattina's twin brother, both being the species of rat. Ratthew cares about her and mentions her disappearance.

Liz is a caracal with light brown fur and dark brown downturned ears that have a slight gradient from dark brown to a slightly darker shade of brown. She has a white ring around her eyes and eyelashes. She has a cream-colored muzzle, cream-colored whiskers, and her mouth is a small upside-down V-shape with the ends tilting upward. She has a thin brown tail that’s the same color as her fur. She wears a light blue cap, a black shirt, and a navy jacket. She carries a white camera around her neck. She wears light gray pants and has black shoes.

Liz is always exaggerative and energetic. She sometimes lengthens words. She is also quite friendly, and trusts the hospital staff enough to let them use her camera for a task. Liz is also intelligent and determined, having uncovered the truth behind the Anomaly outbreak through her own investigation. Rather than staying silent, she’s attempted to expose Animal Corporation despite knowing the risks, getting fired from her job for it. Even after being fired, she refuses to give up, continuing her investigation with the player's help in hopes of proving she was right.

The Bed Monster is a black shadowy figure that appears under a patient's bed. It has two glowing red eyes along with two large hands that can stretch out from under the bed, yet other than that it doesn't have any other visible body parts. it exudes black particles on the side of the bed.

The Ghost is a translucent and ghostly figure that floats. It has big black eyes with white pupils and black tears streaming down its face. It also has a tiny stitched-up mouth as well as a ghost tail.

The Head Banger can vary in appearance, but all of them have hollow black eyes and an open frown. They can also appear with other anomalous features.

The Hiders appear as flat, paper-thin, bald creatures with eyes and a grin similar to the Stalker's. They are slightly transparent, and their color changes slightly depending on the wall they are attached to.

The Mass of Eyes appears as a red fleshy mass with many large, hazel eyes. The eyes follow the player around as they move. They will continuously drip until they are given Eyedrops to sooth them.

Mimics vary in appearance but will always have sharp teeth and a gaping mouth with a bit of what seems to be slime in it. It will disguise itself as an normal Patient in order to get into the hospital.

The Stalker is a tall, slim, black creature of unknown species. Similar to the Hiders, it has large almond-shaped eyes with black irises, white scleras, and eye shines, as well as a large smile, which is crescent shaped with flat, piano-key-like teeth. However, it has longer limbs and a smaller torso. It also has a black curved tail that's similar in shape to Ratthew's.
