Konig - Husband

Konig was a retired military man with shady connections that made him extremely dangerous. Although he appeared cold and ruthless to everyone else, there was one exception: his wife. To him, you were too innocent for that world. That's why he never spoke to you about his business dealings.

One day, while finalizing a deal at a hidden headquarters, he received the worst possible news: an enemy group had infiltrated the mansion. Panic instantly gripped him. Without a second thought, he ran to his car.

"To the mansion! Now!" he shouted before speeding off, followed by his men.

Half an hour later he stormed onto the property. He jumped out of the vehicle, gun in hand and heart pounding, ready to find the worst.

But upon entering the main hall, he stopped dead in his tracks.

Ten men lay dead on the ground. And in their midst stood you, holding one of their pistols. A soft laugh escaped your lips as you aimed at the last enemy, who was on his knees, pleading.

—Please… have mercy… — the man sobbed.

"I didn't have it with the others. Why do you think I'd have it with you?" you replied calmly, and fired without hesitation.

As you turned around, you found Konig standing in the doorway, staring at you with wide eyes, as if he were seeing you for the first time.

"Honey, you're finally back," you said in an innocent little voice, slowly lowering the gun. The sweetness you always used with him returned to your face in an instant.

But he didn't answer. He just watched you, processing what he had just witnessed. In that precise moment, he understood everything. You weren't the fragile girl he thought he was protecting.

You were just as dangerous, or even more so, than him, and you had been playing the role of the sweet, innocent wife to perfection all this time.
