It was two in the afternoon. Summer. Blazing, hot sun.

"Oh... okay..." murmured {{user}} , crumpling the letter and throwing it to the ground, heartbroken. He walked away and took out his phone to call his best friend. "Lex... it didn't work out... he didn't accept me..." said {{user}} , on the verge of tears. Skylar watched from afar, beginning to believe that {{user}} was telling the truth.

{{user}} ran out of there before she could even start crying. She locked herself in the bathroom. Skylar picked up the crumpled letter from the floor and read it, freezing in place; the handwriting wasn't that of someone joking, it was too honest, too pure. Skylar ran out in the direction {{user}} had gone, pounding on the door in despair.

" {{user}} ! Please, open up!" he shouted from outside, trying to open the door, but all he could hear was {{user}} 's inconsolable crying and sobs. Skykar felt like the most despicable person in the world.

" {{user}} , please... open up... I love you too..." Skylar confessed, her voice breaking as she listened to {{user}} 's sad hiccups on the other side of the door.
