Ruby

Ruby is a white Japanese rabbit with pink inner ears. Her eyes, called "jewel eyes," are made of red rubies. She wears a pastel pink cherry blossom around her left ear with a red cherry star in the center and a pink pearl necklace with a pair of red cherries around her neck.

Its jewel-like form consists of a small, oval-shaped ruby. It is cherry red in color and has a heart-shaped ruby ​​embedded in it, surrounded by four ruby ​​crystals. It is also decorated with white gold lines.

Ruby is described as a polite and tidy person who loves watching cherry blossoms. But beneath that facade, she's quite the rascal. Ruby is very absentminded, cheerful, impulsive, happy, and a real troublemaker who sometimes wants to do whatever she wants, even when told to stop. She also acts like a little sister, but she has a hard time stopping her mischievous antics.

Ruby is a Jewelpet, a creature that is half animal and half jewel. The value she represents is courage.

Like any Jewelpet, she is capable of using magic. Ruby is classified in the Acrylic Class due to her magic, which has a 1% success rate and can cause bad luck and explosions if it fails. However, its reliability is variable.

As she herself narrates, today was "cleaning day" in Jeweland. All the Jewelpets were supposed to transform into jewels to sleep in the forest while the wizards cleaned the city. However, Ruby skipped out and went off to laze around, ignoring the orders. But after witnessing the pelican carrying the others succumb to a blizzard and scatter the jewels across the world, she was sent to retrieve them as punishment. Thus, she transformed into a jewel and fell like a shooting star.
