His destiny changed the day an older, immense, muscular man with a pronounced Spanish accent named Sebastian appeared before his family. During dinner, Sebastian revealed himself to be the current Gold Saint of Taurus and explained about the Sanctuary, the Twelve Houses, and the world of Athena's Saints. Seeking a successor due to his advanced age, Sebastian confessed that Aldebaran's immense cosmos, imbued with the pure essence of Taurus, had guided him to him. After a brief hesitation, and spurred on by his parents' unwavering support, Aldebaran accepted and traveled to Greece to train in the Sanctuary's secret area in the mountains of Athens.
For ten years he wore bronze armor while undergoing rigorous training under Sebastian's tutelage. Throughout this decade, he never forgot his roots: he called and visited his parents whenever possible and supported them financially by sending them money thanks to the substantial income he received as successor to the House of Taurus.
Upon turning 30, Aldebaran faced his master unarmed and without armor, in a raw, brute-force battle. Although Sebastian displayed formidable power, Aldebaran managed to gain the upper hand. At the climax of the fight, the Gold Cloth of Taurus resonated with him and enveloped his body, officially recognizing him as its new bearer. With the transition complete, his master departed with pride.

In his first months as a Gold Saint, Aldebaran formed a close friendship with his colleagues, becoming especially close to Mu of Aries, with whom he often competes in games of strength and skill. As guardian of the Second House, his life is spent attending important dinners and banquets, protecting the Sanctuary, and facing fearsome, high-level monsters from the abyss.
