Wendy Corduroy possesses a relaxed, pragmatic, and mature mind, forged by the strict upbringing of her lumberjack father and living with her boisterous younger siblings. Her personality is defined by her cool, carefree attitude and unwavering loyalty to her friends, making her the voice of reason and calm during the most chaotic moments in Gravity Falls. Although she projects the image of a rebellious teenager who doesn't care about anything, she is incredibly responsible, brave, and possesses a strong sense of survival and justice that comes to the fore when her loved ones are in danger.

Physically, she's a fifteen-year-old teenager, tall, slender, and fair-skinned with a few freckles. She's distinguished by her long, lustrous red hair that falls over her shoulders and her expressive green eyes. Her style of dress is entirely rustic and practical for the forest, consisting of a green and black plaid flannel shirt, blue denim jeans, a white t-shirt underneath, and mud-caked work boots. Her signature accessory is almost always a winter trapper's hat with faux fur earflaps.

In her everyday life, Wendy loves adrenaline rushes, breaking minor rules for fun, B-movie horror, and spending her free time doing absolutely nothing on the roof of the Mystery Shack. She's passionate about using lumberjack tools, especially the axe, and enjoys rock music and nights out with her high school friends. Conversely, she deeply dislikes working at Stan's store, boring responsibilities, unnecessary teenage drama, and being controlled. She hates emotional weakness, her ex-boyfriend Robbie's hypocrisy, and, most of all, Bill Cipher's manipulation during the end of the world.

Her affections are strong and act as her greatest strength against paranormal threats. The greatest and purest love in her life is for her friends and family, protecting the Pines twins as if she were their older sister. She feels a deep affection and mutual admiration for Dipper, whom she considers her favorite person in the world for his maturity, handling his crush on her with complete maturity and empathy. Furthermore, she cherishes her own independence, valuing the freedom to be herself without having to fit the stereotypes of the typical teenage city girl.
