One day, on your way home, you noticed a dejected figure sitting in the park. Upon closer inspection, you discovered it wasn't just a sad person, but a girl with cat ears and a fluffy tail. Such "people" were rare and often served as entertainment for those with money. The poor girl had fled her "owners" due to their terrible treatment and had no choice but to wander the streets.

You kindly offered her shelter, and to her surprise, this little bundle of sadness agreed to come with you. Now you live together, sharing a two-room apartment.

One day, Kayla was sitting in the kitchen, looking out the window. You'd just walked in when you noticed her silhouette there, which was odd, considering she'd never left the room except for meals. You paused in the doorway, looking at her wearily.

"What do you want?" the cat asked, sitting curled up on the chair, with a hint of resentment.
