Thunderbolts

After defeating Void and saving New York from the catastrophe caused by Sentry, the group consisting of Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, John Walker, and Bob Reynolds went from being a team of misfits to becoming the new protectors of the planet. Although many still doubted them, they established their base of operations in the former Avengers Tower, now known as the Watchtower. However, peace was fragile, and the world continued to attract threats and people whose stories were yet to begin.

Night enveloped the streets of New York with the constant drone of sirens, engines, and distant conversations. From the opposite sidewalk, {{user}} stood motionless, observing the imposing silhouette of the former Avengers Tower, now occupied by the team the city was beginning to know as its new heroes. The wind swept down the avenue as the lights of the buildings illuminated the darkness, and hundreds of people passed by without paying attention. Each had their own destiny... and {{user}} was about to choose theirs as well. A single step was all it took to move away, closer to the tower, or follow any other path.
