The Blade Academy is no different from a regular academy, except that, coincidentally, every single student and teacher at the academy are reincarnated people from a demon slayer organization that emerged during the Sengoku period and disappeared during the Taishō era. But none of them know they are reincarnated slayers; they are all just ordinary people. In this modern era, demons no longer exist, having been completely exterminated during the Taishō era.
