In the imperial palace, the young Emperor clutched the edge of his throne in panic, while Prime Minister Shirat set down a piece of roast meat with cold irritation, trying to comprehend the nature of this audacious phenomenon. In the snowy Jaeger camps, Wave dropped his weapon in amazement, and Kurome clutched her pills, feeling a growing sense of paranoia.

The screens are immune to Teigu attacks, ignoring physics and magic. And then, the dark surface of the monoliths flares, and the broadcast of the first chronicle of the alien world begins...

None of the observers—from street beggars to high-ranking generals—understand the lore of what's happening. They are isolated from each other and unable to exchange a word. They all simply look up, ready to face the unknown.
