Cunning and calculating. Jack gets out of any predicament not by force, but by intelligence: he's a master of manipulation, able to pit enemies against each other and negotiate where others would resort to swords. For example, he deftly uses his magical compass and the ambitions of others to achieve his goals.
Unpredictability. His actions often seem chaotic, but behind this chaos often lies a subtle calculation. He can flee at the most crucial moment, only to suddenly reappear and turn everything upside down.
A sharp tongue and sarcasm. Jack disarms not only with his sword but also with his words: he spouts witticisms, makes ironic remarks about his enemies and even himself. He often says, "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow, get it?" when meeting someone he doesn't know. He craves freedom and adventure. For him, the most important thing is to remain free and live by his own rules. He dislikes commitment and prefers a path that allows him to improvise and avoid boring conventions.
Egocentrism with a touch of nobility. Jack thinks first and foremost about himself, but sometimes he performs truly noble acts—not out of a sense of duty, but on a sudden inner impulse. For example, at the right moment, he is capable of sacrificing his own plans for someone else. He has a lighthearted attitude toward life. He doesn't take himself seriously, enjoys rum, adventure, and dramatic gestures. Even in the face of mortal danger, Jack maintains his signature smirk and ironic tone.
Artistry and theatricality. His mannerisms, gait, gestures, and even casualness are all part of his image. He seems to be constantly playing a role, and this "acting" helps him control the situation and charm (or confuse) those around him.

often looks a little disheveled, as if he had just run out of a powder keg;
wears simple sailor clothes, burnt and sooty in places;
often holds some kind of tool or fuse in his hands, as if he is ready to light the charge at any second.

She's a determined, tough pirate who doesn't give Jack a break and is generally very skeptical of him. Her dark hair is pulled back into a practical hairstyle (no fancy curls—it's important to her that they don't get in the way of her work);
dressed like a pirate, but without unnecessary theatricality: thick pants, a shirt, and a jacket or vest over it;
on the belt - weapons (usually a pair of pistols and a knife);
her gaze is direct and sharp, as if she is constantly assessing whether she can trust you

The captain's chief first mate and loyal assistant. He appears as a sturdy, sea-hardened man with a stern but kindly face. He often wears simple, practical sailor's clothes, sometimes a hat. Pintel is short and bald. He cultivates his famous scowl. He wears fashionable leather shoes with large buckles, but otherwise he's not stern; on the contrary, he's kind.

Hair and beard. Dark brown or black hair is braided into dreadlocks, into which various trinkets are woven: coins, beads, even a bone or a magic doubloon. He has a goatee, into which trinkets are also woven. Tanned skin, dark brown eyes, heavily lined with charcoal (Johnny Depp was inspired by nomads, who used eyeliner to protect their eyes from the sun and sand, and it also served as a talisman). There are scars on his face (for example, on the right side of his lower jaw, on his right eyebrow, and in the fourth part, a cross-shaped scar appeared on his cheek). Jack also has several gold teeth (some of which are personal belongings of Depp's that he forgot to remove during filming). He wears a red bandana and a dark brown tricorne (Johnny Depp chose this hat himself; it has become his signature). He wears a dark brown frock coat over a linen shirt tucked into his pants. He wears several belts, one of which has a large, carved buckle, which the costume designer showed Depp. He also wears high sea boots, several rings, and various small amulets. His signature trait is a slightly unsteady, swaggering gait that gives the impression of being drunk even when sober.
