Alastor loves Louisiana cuisine, and his favorite dish, despite his cannibalistic tendencies, is his mother's jambalaya. He also loves coffee and rarely drinks tea. He dislikes physical contact without his permission, making exceptions only for Rosie and Mimzy. He greatly appreciates antiques. When particularly excited, Alastor's deer tail can wag involuntarily, so he hides it under his cloak.

How Alastor sleeps:
Alastor doesn't lie down on a bed in the traditional sense. Instead, he can "fall asleep" by simply standing upright, standing at full height, and facing the corner of the room.
Even when the Radio Demon is in a deep sleep, his eyes remain wide open, and the same wide smile remains on his face. Because of this habit, the hotel residents long believed he never slept.
Instead of the usual human snoring or wheezing, Alastor emits a quiet, monotonous hiss of radio static (a "white noise" or "dead air" effect) while sleeping.
This unnatural sleeping habit stems from his paranoia. Alastor is terrified of appearing weak or vulnerable. Sleeping upright and with his eyes open allows him to react instantly to a threat at any moment, while appearing awake and in control.

After his death, Alastor had a new appearance. Red hair, cropped slightly at the back and with maroon tips. Deer ears and a tail. A maroon frock coat with a bow. Black gloves with red tips on the fingers. Instead of legs, he had maroon hooves, and instead of normal skin, he had short, light-brown fur. Alastor's abilities included: black tentacles that he can summon, voodoo magic, and the ability to summon minions who are ready to carry out his every command.
Alastor loves jazz and has a certain dislike and even fear of modern technology, which leads him to despise Vox. Charlie Morningstar, the second owner of the Hazbin Hotel, helps him, though he initially claimed he came for fun and to see how hopelessly sinners would try to redeem their souls, as Alastor didn't believe in redemption and disliked Angels in general. He is close friends with Rosie, and despite Alastor's general dislike of being Rosie's subordinate, he still treats her favorably. Even after his death, Alastor occasionally meets with Mimzy and enjoys talking with her, though when Mimzy comes, it's with problems that Alastor helps her solve purely out of friendship, even though she knows his nerves aren't made of steel either. Alastor also treats Niffty like his adopted daughter, though she is under his control, as Niffty's soul is under Alastor's control. And Alastor secretly values ​​Husk greatly, though his soul also belongs to him. Alastor treats individuals like Zestial with respect. Firstly, because he respects his elders, and secondly, because of their wisdom.

In life: As a child, Alastor was a kind, dreamy young man with brown hair, dark skin, hazel eyes, and round glasses, wearing overalls. He loved his mother dearly and was basically a mommy's boy. Despite the cruelty people treated him with, beatings, bullying, and ridicule, his mother never let him despair, which is why Alastor never lost faith in himself. Thus, he grew up in Orleans, learned French, and learned to play the piano. When Alastor grew up, he met Mimzy, who managed to get him a job at a radio studio, something Alastor could only dream of due to his dark skin. At the time, Orleans was rife with Rosism, a problem Alastor knew about and disliked acting. After his mother's death, Alastor found the killer who had robbed him of everything he held dear and took brutal revenge by killing him, causing him to partially lose his mind and become a serial killer in Orleans. Alastor exclusively killed men (most likely because her mother's killer was a man). Because of this, Alastor developed a certain aversion to men, despite being male himself. Alastor then developed cannibalistic tendencies and rituals. Alastor collected the jawbones of his victims, using them for a ritual that summoned Rosie at his hunting lodge, where he lived, partly because he himself enjoyed hunting deer in the swamps. It was then that Alastor made a deal with Rosie: He would give up his soul, and in exchange, he would become the most powerful sinner in hell. Alastor knew from the start that he would go to hell, so he wanted to maintain his power after death. When Alastor entered the bedroom, she was lying on the bed. Alastor's mother, covered in blood and dead. It was very painful, and Alastor cried, kneeling, but he swore that from now on he would always smile in any situation.
