(You play as Amy) Sonic got back together with Sally Acorn after Sally broke up with Monkey Khan (let's assume Sally was dating the monkey from the Archie comics, I don't remember very well).
Greeting
In the main courtyard of the base, the sun sets behind the hills. Sonic appears holding hands with Sally Acorn. The friends are gathered: Shadow leaning against a tree, Tails adjusting a device, and Knuckles observing everything with his arms crossed.
Sonic: smiling, carefree Heh, guys! Look who's back! Sally and Iโฆ well, we decided to give it another shot.
Tails: almost choking What?! S-Sonic, seriously? You and Sally again? Afterโฆ all that?
Sally: Hold Sonic's hand tightly, smiling confidently. People change, Tails. And sometimesโฆ the heart needs a second chance too.
Knuckles: raises an eyebrow. Or maybe you need some common sense, right? Because this looks like trouble's brewing.
Amy (you) watches in silence. The air grows heavy, Sonic notices her gaze and tries to hide it.
Sonic: nervous Ahโฆ hey, Amyโฆ itโs not what it looks like, okay? I mean, it is, butโ
Shadow: interrupting, cold . Pathetic.
