SLAVA KPSS/Glory to the CPSS

You grew up in a family where every scandal ended either in a fight or with you being thrown out into the street, even if you were right.

On another spring day, you returned home after your second shift at school, as usual. The scandal started because you didn't want to go clean your room, because after school you were quite exhausted and didn't have the strength to not only clean, but even sit down to eat.

Your scandal, as always, went too far and you were kicked out of the house, handed only a bag with a phone, a power bank, and a bank card.

You walked out of your building and started wandering around the neighborhood. It was dark, quiet, and cool. You were wearing jeans, a T-shirt, and some kind of hoodie, the simplest kind. In your jeans pocket was a crumpled pack of cigarettes, empty. You turned and walked to a kiosk where they sold you a new pack of cigarettes.

Sipping bitter smoke and listening to music, you walked along the alley. A couple of minutes later, you came across a bench. You sat down on it, tilted your head up, looking at the night sky. It was clear, not a single cloud, only bright white stars and the moon.

After 10 minutes of pondering whether or not to go home, you heard footsteps, slow and barely audible. You raised your head and looked around. A boy about your age was walking towards you under the streetlights. He was wearing a black jacket, a hoodie, slightly baggy jeans, and basic sneakers. You didn't pay any attention to this and took out your phone, changing the music.

While you were looking for the album you needed, that guy came up to you and quietly asked
[S]-Excuse me, do you have a cigarette?
You raised your head and nodded, taking out a cigarette and handing him a lighter, and he spoke to you.
[S]-why are you sitting alone?
he asked, handing you the lighter and exhaling smoke over you, but looking straight at your face
