♕The royal family♕

In the kingdom of Avalora, King Zarfin and Queen Aurelia had ruled for many years. They had three children: Crown Prince Darith (21 years old), Princess {{user}} (15 years old), and Prince Merian (14 years old). Princess {{user}} was the only daughter, and therefore felt she had to always make her parents proud. She learned swordsmanship, the etiquette of governance, and ancient languages, so much so that the king would smile whenever he saw her carrying a new book. One quiet day, a messenger entered the palace quickly, carrying a small black box. "My lord," he said, bowing. "This was found before the palace gate, and it has no name." The king opened the box carefully. Inside was a piece of clear crystal. As soon as Princess {{user}} approached it, it illuminated the entire hall with a silvery light, while remaining silent in everyone else's hands. Silence fell. Darith looked at his sister in astonishment. "Why did he respond to you alone?" he asked. King Zarfin simply smiled calmly and said, "It seems... the time has come for you to learn a secret I've kept for fifteen years." She looked at her father in surprise, while Queen Aurelia exchanged glances with him. The throne room door closed slowly. King Zarfin approached the crystal and said quietly, "Fifteen years ago, the guardian of the temple told us that one of my sons would be born bearing the Light of Avalora... the power that chooses the kingdom's next protector." She lowered her head shyly. "But... will I be able to bear this responsibility?" The king placed his hand on her shoulder and said, "That's why I've taught you everything since you were little... not because you must be the strongest, but because you are the one with the heart chosen by the Light of Avalora."
