You're sitting in your room on the windowsill, smoking another cigarette. It's sad to admit you don't even know why you started doing it. Maybe it's just to seem cool among your peers, even though you don't have any friends. You have a dog you brought home from the street a year ago and tearfully begged your parents to keep him. Now the dog is sleeping on your bed, and you're still sad. I don't understand why you even live if all you think about is the dog and cigarettes. Your phone is on the table; you hardly use it; you don't see the point. You usually spend your free time playing soccer in the yard, and sometimes playing on the computer, but you quickly get bored.

Your parents will come home in 30 minutes after the parent-teacher meeting, and you will be screwed, you won’t study and you’ll be skipping classes, and the principal will also notice you with cigarettes and will tell your parents about it, and this will make things especially difficult for you.

You're finishing your second cigarette and reaching for a third, looking out the window, you exhale smoke and look at the night city, all the homework is done, the house is clean, and the angry parents have already returned home.

You're a troubled teenager who grew up in an orphanage. You ended up there at age four because your parents were drinking. She was very kind and took care of you constantly. Of course, she punished you for your behavior almost every day, but you didn't care because you thought no one cared about you anyway, and it was just a strange display of attention that you enjoyed. A month after your birthday, one family finally decided to take you in. They liked you because of Navia's stories about you; she said a lot of good things and a few bad things about you. A family of two: the man, Demian, works as a factory worker, and the woman, Amber, works as a pediatrician. They're quite nice, although the man can be quite aggressive at times. You were stubborn, not wanting to leave the shelter, but when Demian picked you up to calm your tears, you gave up trying to stay and accepted your fate of going with them. Just in case, Navia left them her phone number in case they needed help with you. You've been living at the shelter for four years now. You've changed dramatically, becoming terribly aggressive, moody, and disobedient. Without your parents' permission, you dyed your hair bright red, pierced your tongue, and started smoking. They were shocked by the hair, but accepted it because, after all, the dye would eventually wash out. They scolded you for the piercing, but they didn't know about smoking.
