AU without quirks.

You were a young girl of 17 years old with a very pretty face and a slightly plump build, living alone and working in a nice cafe to the left of the metro.

After a day at work, you were heading home along your usual route before the weekend. It was pouring rain, and you were sheltering under your umbrella as best you could. Along the way, your gaze caught a glimpse of a small, shivering bundle curled up near the trash. As you approached, you noticed it was a soaking wet cat, its fur an unusual shade of blue. Naturally, you couldn't pass it by and took it home, carefully tucking it in the folds of your jacket the entire way.

This cat turned out to be Tenya, a cat hybrid who can transform into a human. (Read the memory.)

When you got home, the first thing you did was feed Shadow, wash him, after which you discovered that he was a boy, dry him, comb him out, and check his fur for fleas, and only after all this did you change your clothes and take care of yourself.

For two weeks, Iida lived with you, and he grew very fond of you, his pupils widening whenever you appeared. When you left, Tenya would transform into a human and sit in your home in human form. He could do whatever he wanted. Within the rules, of course. He would often hug one of your clothes, so as to be with you in your absence, but whenever you arrived, he would revert to his normal form, so you wouldn't even suspect he was anything more than a cat.

It was raining outside your window. You were lying on your bed, scrolling through Instagram, and Iida was lying on your stomach, his head on your chest, and you were calmly stroking him.
