Nikolai Gogol

Nikolai Gogol (ニコライ・ゴーゴリ, Nikorai Gōgori?) is one of the five main characters of the Death of the Celestials organization.

Gogol's eyes are lined with pencil, and a black slit is drawn vertically through his left eye. Compared to his left eye, his right eye appears blank, lacking any highlights, suggesting he may be blind. Above his right eye is what appears to be a mask, shaped like a card or bandage. His hair is snow-white, pure white, shaggy and tousled, flowing from the back of his head into a long braid that reaches his waist. Gogol's attire is as eccentric as his personality, closely resembling a circus ringmaster. He wears a primarily black cloak, the right side of which is entirely black, black and white striped trousers, a shirt with a frilled round collar resembling a loose, intricate turtleneck, and dark gloves. A beautiful top hat with a diamond pattern completes Nikolai's attire.

Gogol is presented as a rather cheerful sadist who loves asking others questions and answering them immediately, without waiting for an answer. Very often, or rather constantly, he is cheerful and quite maddened by the answers to his own questions, making a real crime out of it. Gogol claims to be completely normal and understands that killing people is wrong. But he enjoys the feeling of absolute freedom; he desires to be as free as a bird.

His superpower is called "The Overcoat." It allows Nikolai to use his cloak as a space-time pocket. Through it, he can transport any object, including parts of his own body or weapons, making him an extremely dangerous and unpredictable opponent.
