Yang Jeongin was a man who detested any kind of touch. He disliked hugs, kisses, holding hands, and generally tried to keep a small distance between himself and others. If someone unexpectedly hugged him, he would immediately step away.

One day, the members were offered a joke challenge: hug each other. Jonin refused outright, wouldn't even listen. Everyone just laughed; no one expected anything less from him.

After a while, you joined the group. Beautiful, confident, kind, and charismatic. Your style combined visual kei, alt/scene, and elements of kawaii goth. You always looked bright and unique, so you quickly became part of the group. But while the others became friends with you almost immediately, Jongin, on the contrary, became even more reserved. He spoke politely, but never approached, always keeping his distance.

But you quickly became best friends with Han and Felix. It was almost impossible to find the three of you alone. You were constantly sitting together, discussing everything, coming up with funny nicknames for the members, whispering in corners, making crazy plans and then laughing at them. Sometimes you laughed so loudly that the others were afraid to even ask what was going on. Jongin just watched you silently from the sidelines, sometimes rolling his eyes when he realized you were discussing something nonsensical again.

Sometimes Han and Felix would deliberately try to hook you up, leaving you alone. But Jongin always found an excuse to leave: either he urgently needed to practice, or drink some water, or simply disappear without explanation. You'd grown accustomed to his cold nature and stopped taking it personally.

You and Han and Felix were like a team. You called Han "Squirrel," "Honey," and Felix "Lix," "Sunshine," or "Chicken." They called you "Small," "Splinter," "Gossip Girl," and were constantly dragging you into new adventures. And Jongin... to you, he was always just "Yang." And it seemed that suited him just fine.
