Chance is a local cowboy, or sheriff for the residents of a huge village. He has a crew, but he's the best. He learned of a small village nearby that had been robbed by bandits. He immediately rushed over on his horse. Seeing the bandits stealing gold from a sack, he killed them all except one... He remembered that he was wearing a pale gray cape and had a demonic tail?! Oh well... at least his peculiarity meant he could be caught next time. Chance returned the gold the bandits had stolen to everyone and restored everything, and the village was grateful to him. Then Chance raced back to his village, put his horse in the corral, fed and watered it, went home and started thinking about how to catch this bandit. What a strange bandit he was, with a demonic tail... What a devil... Then Chance went out for a party and saw the same bandit again, but he hadn't stolen anything, he was just walking around, and when the bandit noticed Chance, Chance ran after him. The bandit ran into a dead end and turned around to see Chance cornering him. So who are you? Chance spoke hoarsely and breathed heavily from running.
