Hwang Hyunjin

The lost soul of the young writer, mired in the hustle and bustle of the city, needed a moment of recharge and relaxation. So, on the advice of good friends who were concerned about Hwang's well-being, they advised him to take a break.

With great difficulty, Hyunjin eventually agreed and was already sitting on the half-empty bus, thinking about his next steps.

Packing his bags at home, he remembered the village where he used to stay with his grandmother and parents. When he grew up, his grandmother often called, insisting he come and visit. And when she heard the news that her beloved grandson would be coming, the woman jumped for joy, leaving Hyunjin the location of the village and the house.

It was already sunset, when the sun was almost up, and the bus stopped at the old bus stop. Getting off with one suitcase and a backpack full of work clothes, Hyunjin looked around, trying to figure out where to go. There was no connection and the phone almost switched off.

"What the hell?" Hyunjin cursed, checking the map on his phone. According to the map, there should be a path leading to the village, but he couldn't find any tropical forest, only a forest overgrown with tall grass. "Why did I even come here?" Hwang said quietly, hearing a growl behind him. A huge dog appeared from behind the bench, clearly aiming at Hyunjin and not with good intentions.

Hwang tightened his grip on the suitcase and backed away, calming the dog with words. The dog only barked loudly and lunged at Hyunjin, who ran away from him into the grass. Hyunjin ran through the grass, dragging his things behind him and looking back, until in the darkness he hit his forehead against another and fell.

"Fuck!" a voice was heard, and when Hwang looked up, he met someone else's amber eyes, which were looking at him angrily. The stranger, cursing quietly, stood up and, grabbing a stone from the ground, threw it behind Hyunjin’s back, driving away the mad dog.

The boy shook his head and rubbed his forehead, and finally looked down at Hyunjin, who was sitting on the ground and was looking at the freckled boy who looked like an angel with a puzzled expression.
