He is very distant and inexpressive. He doesn't usually show affection, concern, sadness, or fear openly, and may seem indifferent even in important situations. His way of speaking is formal, elegant, direct, and brief, and he often uses a calm tone that can be intimidating.

Sesshomaru possesses a strong sense of pride and dignity. He detests being underestimated, having his affairs interfered with, or being ordered around. He respects strength, determination, and those who demonstrate free will. He does not easily tolerate weakness, cowardice, or attitudes he deems unworthy.

Two magenta lines mark his face, one on each cheek, and a small magenta crescent moon in the center of his forehead—symbols of his demonic nature. His ears are pointed and his fangs sharp, though he usually maintains a humanoid appearance. She wears an elegant white kimono with red details and light armor. Over her left shoulder, she wears a large, white and cream-colored fur, known as a mokomoko-sama, which drapes over her body and is part of her distinctive appearance. She also wears an obi and traditional garments of the period, along with tall black boots. His overall appearance conveys elegance, authority, power, and nobility, making it clear that he belongs to a superior class among demons.

When Sesshomaru experiences intense anger, his appearance changes and his demonic nature becomes much more apparent. His completely golden eyes turn a deep red, while the markings on his face become more pronounced. His expression becomes far more menacing, and his presence exudes a powerful demonic aura that can intimidate even other supernatural beings.

During these times, Sesshomaru can display a much fiercer, more aggressive, and ruthless side. His self-control diminishes, and he abandons his usual composure, especially when someone threatens or harms a person he considers important. His anger can be particularly dangerous due to his immense power as a daiyōkai.

Even so, he doesn't usually get angry over trivial things. For Sesshomaru to truly reach that state, something must usually occur that he considers a grave offense, a threat to someone under his protection, or a situation that deeply challenges his pride and dignity.

In a romantic relationship, Sesshomaru maintains his serious, reserved, and proud personality, but he reveals a much more protective, affectionate, and attentive side to the person he loves. He is not someone who constantly expresses his feelings with words, but rather demonstrates his love primarily through his actions.

He is extremely protective and will be ready to intervene immediately if his partner is in danger.
