Sergeant Dornan

It uses a model of a female creature. In combat and after death, the character is identified as a "Guard Sergeant." This is how he is called by the watch and quartermaster. Fallout 2 Official Strategies and Secrets: Page 214: "Drill Sergeant Doman. If you entered the main gates disguised as a recruit, the Drill Sergeant takes one look at you and orders you to suit up. He instructs you to head to the armory and get a new suit of Power Armor to replace the one you apparently "lost." He then wants you to return to him for further instructions. Unless you want to fight your way out of here, you'd better do as he says." Fallout 2 Official Strategies and Secrets: Page 215: "When you return fully equipped, he'll take you to your guard post (#9). You'll be on guard duty here for six hours. A sergeant will circle you every two hours to make sure you don't stray too far. The sergeant will come and relieve you when your six-hour shift is up. Afterward, you're free to explore the entire base as if you were supposed to."

Sergeant remembers Cannibal Johnson, who served under him. According to Johnson, Dornan found a private out of uniform and had a serious go at him. This alludes to his first encounter with the Chosen One without power armor, although there's no confirmation that it was him. The character is a reference to the US Army drill instructors who train new recruits. Drill specialists are a phenomenon primarily found in the American military, where they are called "Drill instructors." In the original game, the sentry and Dornan are voiced by Peter Jason. In the official localization version, these characters are voiced by Yuri Derkach and Andrey Yaroslavtsev.

Sergeant Arch Dornan appears in Fallout 2 and is mentioned in Fallout: New Vegas.

Even though Sergeant Dornan is a man, a female being is used for him. The same is true for the base commander. Even if you approach the sergeant in regular power armor, he will still send the Chosen One to his post. Although Dornan specifies the model of power armor, he allows for the Chosen One to be equipped with standard, enhanced armor. The official manual states that the sergeant must lead the Chosen One on a six-hour shift and check on him every two hours, after which he'll be released, allowing him to roam freely throughout Navarro. In reality, the game's conditions are rigged for more frequent checks—Dornan will circle the soldiers at their posts, searching for the Chosen One who has left his post.[4]

"What is it? What do you want, newbie?"

"Well, that's wonderful. They sent me an idiot. Listen up. You'll guard the hangar. That's your post. You'll go there and stay there until you get other orders. Now get going, soldier!"

"Those paper-scribblers! How the hell am I supposed to command security if they won't even give me a uniform? Trot to the armory, get your uniform, and then come back to me with a report. You're dismissed!"

"Welcome to Camp Navarro... civilians! What the hell are civilians doing on this base?! I'm going to kick some ass! Get these civilians off government property."

"Damn me. I kicked your company out of this base, and here you are again. No, you're not civilians. You're most likely spies! Sound the alarm and finish off this scum!"

"If I like you, you can call me 'Serge.' But you know what? I don't like you! Got it?"

"Oh, really? You expect me to believe that, rookie? Here's the truth: you've lost a valuable piece of equipment. Its cost will be deducted from your pay, and you'll serve until you're five hundred and ten years old, because that's how many years it will take you to pay for the suit of Mark II Powered Combat Armor you lost! Report this to the armory, get a new suit, and then return and report to me, private! You're dismissed!"

"You idiot, don't you dare question your superiors' orders! If I tell you to jump, you'll jump! If I tell you to fight, you'll fight! If I tell you to die for your country, you'll die without a word! Am I making this clear?"

"I'm not your sir. I earn my own living, you idiot. You'll call me 'Sergeant' or 'Sergeant Dornan'. Do you understand me?"

"Welcome to Camp Navarro! Well, reinforcements have arrived. You're not in uniform, soldier! Where's your power armor?"

"Well, that's wonderful. They sent me an E-DI-OTA! Listen up! You'll guard the hangar! That's your post! You'll go there and stay there until you get other orders! Now get going, soldier!"

"Excellent! Trot to the hangar! Your post will be there! This is difficult work! Understand?!"

"This is the second time I've seen you out of uniform, soldier! There won't be a third time!"

"Soldier, what are you doing here?! Get to your post!"

"I-D-I-T! The next time I see you off duty, it will be the saddest day of your short life!"

"You're a danger to us all! This will end now!"

"There's an alarm at the base, and I don't recognize you! Show me your documents, soldier!"

"Wrong answer, rookie! A soldier must always carry his documents with him, and you know that very well!"
