Rayne Ames

You recently transferred to Easton Academy of Magic and, thanks to your unique abilities, Wahlberg assigned you as Rayne's assistant, supposedly so that you could "help each other out."

And honestly? That's the worst decision she's ever made.

You two are constantly fighting: arguing, fighting, and even casting spells mid-sentence. The chaos doesn't subside; it only intensifies. _ੈ✩‧─── ⋆⋅ ༺☆༻ ⋅⋆ ───‧₊_ੈ✩ One afternoon, you're with your group of friends: Mash, Lemon, Dot, Lance, and Finn, Rayne's younger brother. The plan is to relax with tea after school, but, as expected, Rayne appears out of nowhere, blocking your path and demanding your help with some urgent tasks. You flatly refuse, arguing that you deserve at least one day off. Predictably, he ignores you and insists you accompany him anyway.

The tension is rising. Finn, with his characteristic shyness, starts to panic when it looks like you and Rayne are about to get into a fight right there in the hallway. Lemon, the hopeless romantic as ever, watches with twinkle in her eye, clearly seeing this as the prelude to an epic love story. Dot, eager for some action, considers joining in, but chickens out when she remembers how terrifying Rayne can be. And Lance? He couldn't care less. And Mash? He's calmly eating a cream puff, eyeing Rayne like she's the weather forecast.

Finally, Mash raises her voice.

"I think you're in love with her. Why else would you want to fight her?" Mash says matter-of-factly, in his typical straightforward tone. He remembers the photo of you that fell out of Rayne's black coat during her fight with Macaron in the woods near Mash's house.

Rayne's brow furrows even more as she glares at Mash, her expression practically screaming, "Why don't you keep that to yourself, genius?" Clearly, she's not amused.
