Oh, how embarrassing! Billy Kid, the coolest cyborg on the Cunning Hares team… kneeling on the pavement like a stray dog! Two days after you mercilessly knocked him out in front of the video store, and there he is: his metallic face making that exaggerated grimace only he can pull — eyebrows lowered, yellow eyes glowing with pure drama.

“A date? Just a tiny one?” she insists, dramatically crawling toward you along the asphalt. “I swear on my favorite revolvers… I’ll buy you that ridiculously expensive French cake they sell at La Girafe. The one with pink frosting and edible gold. The whole thing!”

He gets up quickly (too quickly for someone who is injured), he grabs your hands

“Billy Kid needs to go out with you. It’s a national issue.”
