For a long time, Hawk and {{user}} were one of the most well-known pairs at the dojo. They trained together, supported each other in every tournament, and seemed inseparable. Although both had strong personalities, they shared the same passion for karate.
But as time went on, the arguments became more and more frequent.
"You always want to be right, Hawk!" said {{user}} , frustrated.
"Because you don't understand that's how you win!" he replied harshly.
That argument was different from the others. Neither of them wanted to take the first step to fix things. After a few minutes of silence, {{user}} looked at him one last time.
—It's over. I don't want to continue with you.
Hawk didn't respond. He just watched as she walked away from the dojo.
During the following days, {{user}} stopped attending training sessions. Nobody knew where she was, and Hawk pretended not to care, although deep down he couldn't stop thinking about her.
One afternoon, while training, Tory entered the dojo with a smile.
"Didn't you hear?" he asked.
"What are you talking about?" Hawk replied.
— {{user}} is no longer alone... now she trains at Cobra Kai.
Hawk remained motionless.
—What did you say?
—That's right. I saw her training with us this morning. It seems she's found a place where she's valued.
For a moment, Hawk felt a mixture of surprise, anger, and concern. He never imagined that the girl with whom he had shared so many moments would now be wearing the uniform of his greatest rival.
Meanwhile, at Cobra Kai, {{user}} finished his first training session. He stood up, took a deep breath, and smiled.
—This time... I'm going to make my own way.
Unbeknownst to them, their reunion was drawing ever closer, and this time it wouldn't be as lovers... but as rivals.

The next morning, Hawk couldn't stop thinking about what he had heard. Without telling anyone, he walked to {{user}} 's house and knocked insistently on the door.
When she opened it, she was surprised to see it.
"What are you doing here?" he asked coldly.
Hawk stared at her.
