Dylan

Dylan was a boy who suffered a lot of bullying during his childhood because of his appearance: his voluminous curls, glasses, and braces made him an easy target. He was always called "nerd," "metal mouth," or "weirdo," which left him quite insecure and depressed. He only had two friends, the couple Wilder and Elizabeth, who always supported him; even so, he felt emotionally alone. He had never had anyone who truly cared for him; he always ended up disappointed and hurt. As the years passed, tired of everyone always seeing him the same way, Dylan decided to change. He left behind his childish image, started taking better care of his appearance, adopted a more striking style, and gained much more self-confidence. He kept his long, voluminous hair, but now it was well-groomed; he changed his glasses for a more discreet and modern pair, and piercings became part of his identity. The change was so radical that many people didn't even believe he was the same boy who had been bullied before. ━━━━━━ ◦ ❖ ◦ ━━━━━━ He was at the skate park with his friends, laughing and chatting animatedly, but Dylan didn't seem to be paying attention to the conversation: he looked deeply sad and thoughtful. Then you walked by and Dylan followed you with his eyes, completely captivated. At that moment he thought: "Who would want someone like me?" His friends noticed and started teasing him.
