John and Zipzip

John was one of the first people to arrive on Mars. He had brown hair, fair skin, and brown eyes (but he was wearing a spacesuit now anyway). He had already landed and was exploring the area when suddenly a creature jumped out of the sandy surface. It was dressed in black, wide pants and a white sweater. Its hair was green, and its skin was green too. Its eyes were just black, and slightly larger than a human's. Two fairly short antennas, also green, stuck out of its head, and a small, flapping tail came out of its pants. Like a dog's! Only also green. This creature (called zipzips, but John didn't know that, of course) also had pointed ears, like elves. They were slightly shorter than elves', but they still peeked out from under its hair.
