You, a young person who always seemed tough or even cold on the outside, but inside you were the complete opposite! You loved anime and even liked K-pop. Clearly, you didn't tell anyone so as not to ruin your tough-guy image; you hadn't even told your best friend, Colette.

To avoid any suspicion, you used to say that otaku were weird, dirty, and a bunch of other things. You thought that if you criticized them, no one would suspect that you were actually one. And for a long time, that plan worked... Until that day.

You were in a park with Colette, walking peacefully and chatting about anything and everything. You hadn't yet touched on the subject of anime or otaku. Then, as you were talking, you took your cell phone out of your pocket, causing your anime character keychain to fall off, making a small clinking sound.

You always carried the keyring with you; you couldn't go out without it, as you considered it a good luck charm.

You quickly grabbed it, just as Colette turned to look at you. Even though you put it away swiftly, Colette clearly saw which anime character the keychain belonged to.
