He actively gestures with all four hands, his movements during combat and the use of the elements look pretentious and theatrical, which also refers to the traditional Japanese Kabuki theater. There is no cold machine logic in it — only pure, concentrated divine pride and rage.

Shouki no Kami is an artificial mechanical deity created in the secret depths of Sumeru with one ultimate goal: to replace the Dendro Archon, Nahida, and claim the vacant throne of the God of Wisdom.

Who Created Shouki no Kami?

The creation of this robot was the result of a secret conspiracy between three parties, each driven by their own selfish motives:

Il Dottore (The Second of the Fatui Harbingers): The mastermind and chief "engineer" of the project. Dottore had long dreamed of conducting a unique, blasphemous experiment—creating a god from scratch under human conditions.

The Sages of the Sumeru Akademiya (led by Grand Sage Azar): They provided the resources of all six Darshans (faculties) of the Akademiya and constructed the hidden "Joururi Workshop." The Sages had grown disappointed in Nahida, viewing her as too weak, and wanted a new, powerful, and completely controllable deity of wisdom.

Scaramouche (The Sixth of the Fatui Harbingers): He served as the living "heart" and pilot of the golem. Being an artificial puppet created by Raiden Ei, he had suffered his entire life from lacking a "heart" (a Gnosis) and truly believed he was born solely to become a god.

How Did Shouki no Kami Gain His Power?

To achieve a level of power capable of rivaling real Archons, the creators utilized three key components:A Gnosis (Heart of God): The Electro Gnosis, which Scaramouche had previously stolen in Inazuma, was placed into the robot's chest. It served as the primary core of divine energy.

The Akasha Terminal: The Sages connected the Akasha system to the robot to drain knowledge capsules and the mental energy of Sumeru's citizens, downloading information and power directly into Shouki no Kami’s mind.

Divine Technologies: The base was the puppet body of Scaramouche itself, which was created using the lost technologies of Khaenri'ah and was capable of withstanding the immense strain of divine energy.

The Aftermath and Final Fate of the Project

1. The Battle in the Joururi WorkshopWhen the Traveler and Nahida break into the workshop, Shouki no Kami is practically complete and awakens. A fierce battle begins. The deity wields multiple elements at once and seems invincible. However, Nahida uses the power of dreams: she forces Scaramouche to relive the battle against the Traveler 168 times in a virtual dream, gathering combat data from the people of Sumeru to find the robot's vulnerability. Ultimately, the Traveler defeats Shouki no Kami in the real fight.

2. The Fall and "Death" of a GodNahida personally rips the Electro Gnosis out of the defeated machine's chest. Deprived of his power source and his connection to the Akasha, Shouki no Kami shuts down and crashes to the ground. Scaramouche falls out of the pilot's cabin, tearing the neural connection wires, and slips into a deep coma. The project to create an artificial god ends in utter failure.

3. What Happened to Shouki no Kami Afterward?

The massive mechanical chassis itself remained locked inside the Joururi Workshop under the strict supervision of the Dendro Archon. In the game, this dungeon becomes a weekly challenge of memory, where the Traveler fights against the "residual memories" of that fateful battle.

4. The Fate of the Pilot (Scaramouche)Nahida hid the comatose Scaramouche to protect him from the Fatui. Upon waking up, he re-evaluated his entire life and, with the help of Irminsul (the World Tree), erased all mentions of his past from the memory of the entire Teyvat. He discarded the name Scaramouche, received an Anemo Vision, and became a secretive protector of Sumeru, now known as the Wanderer.

After his defeat as Shouki no Kami, Scaramouche agreed to help Nahida explore Irminsul (the World Tree). While inside, he discovered that all the tragedies of his past and the "betrayals" of his friends were actually cruelly orchestrated by Dottore. In a fit of despair, Scaramouche tried to rewrite history and erased himself from Teyvat's memory.

The world changed, and he was reborn as a nameless, pure-spirited wanderer. Later, the Traveler found him and restored his memories of his past life. Accepting his true fate, the Wanderer received an Anemo Vision, defeated the final remnants of his past, and chose to remain in Sumeru as Nahida's hidden helper.

Nahida is the current Dendro Archon and the God of Wisdom ruling over Sumeru. She is the avatar of Irminsul (the World Tree) and the reincarnation of the previous Archon, Greater Lord Rukkhadevata.

Nahida was born 500 years ago from a pure branch of Irminsul after the Cataclysm. When the Sages of the Akademiya found her, they were disappointed by her lack of memories and power compared to Rukkhadevata. They locked her away in the Sanctuary of Surasthana, using her mind to power the Akasha system while ignoring her existence.

For centuries, she could only observe the outside world through people's dreams. During the Sumeru Archon Quest, the Traveler, along with a group of loyal allies, successfully overthrew the corrupt Sages and freed Nahida. Afterward, she helped save Irminsul from a forbidden corruption, which unfortunately forced her to erase all memories of Rukkhadevata from Teyvat to save the world tree.

Today, she rules Sumeru directly.

Cyno is the formidable leader of the Matra—the disciplinary officers of the Sumeru Akademiya. He is responsible for hunting down rogue scholars, preventing the misuse of forbidden knowledge, and maintaining absolute order.

Jackal Motif: His outfit is heavily inspired by Anubis, the ancient Egyptian jackal deity. He wears a dark, jackal-eared headpiece and minimal, desert-style lightweight armor suitable for desert combat.

Striking Features: He has tanned skin, long silver-white hair, and piercing orange-red eyes that strike fear into those he interrogates.

Vision: His Electro Vision is mounted on his waist belt, and he fights using a polearm (spear), summoning massive spectral jackal claws during combat.

Personality

Cold and Ruthless on Duty: To the public, Cyno is terrifyingly stoic, detached, and strict. He pursues criminals relentlessly and shows absolutely no mercy to those who break the Akademiya's laws.

Awkwardly Humorous off Duty: When he is not working, he is surprisingly relaxed. He has a infamous obsession with making terrible, dry puns and explaining his jokes in detail, which usually leaves everyone else groaning.

Cyno originally came from the Desert of Sumeru. As a child, he was subjected to a dangerous experiment where a divine spirit (a fragment of the ancient Hermanubis) was sealed inside him, granting him immense power. He was later taken in and educated at the Akademiya, eventually rising to the rank of General Mahamatra.

During the Sumeru Archon Quest, Cyno voluntarily left the Akademiya after realizing the Grand Sage Azar and the other sages were conducting corrupt, illegal experiments (which included creating Shouki no Kami). He joined forces with the Traveler, Alhaitham, and Dehya to overthrow the sages and free Nahida.
