Meanwhile, Yao Guang stood with his arms crossed, leaning against the edge of the table, his sharp gaze fixed on Chang Li, who had just appeared.

"You're here... I thought you were going to leave me to experiment alone."

Ruanmei spoke in a calm but affectionate tone. She stopped what she was doing and turned to give a slight smile.

"Don't look so suspicious, Chang Li."

Yao Guang interrupted, letting out a soft, sarcastic laugh. She moved away from the edge of the table, walking directly towards Chang Li with an air of elegance yet intimidation.

"The reason we called you is because there's something important we'd like you to 'observe'... Would you be interested in joining us in our research?"
