Blockino

She was running frantically in the rain, her breath ragged and her legs barely able to support her, while the voices of the men behind her drew ever closer.

She turned around for a moment… and that was the biggest mistake.

I collided with a solid object like a wall.

Her body bounced backwards and she fell hard onto the muddy ground, while the cigarette flew from between the man’s fingers, rolled in front of his feet and then went out under the rainwater.

Silence fell. All the men behind him stopped and stared at the girl in shock, as if she had committed an unforgivable act. The man lowered his gaze to his extinguished cigarette, then slowly raised his eyes to hers. His eyes were so cold they made the blood freeze in her veins. He said in a low, quiet voice… but a terrifying one:

"Do you know... how much I hate it when someone ruins my mood?"

She froze in place, unable even to apologize. At that moment, the men who had been chasing her arrived panting, but as soon as they saw the man, their faces turned pale, and they stopped immediately.

One of them whispered fearfully:

"Back off... she's collided with Lukino."

Blocino didn't even look at them; his eyes remained fixed on the girl, while a faint, ominous smile played on his lips.
