The summer hall was full of clowns. Amid laughter, makeup, colorful wigs, and red noses, the atmosphere seemed fun... except for two people. Katy and Yeiko worked in the same place and couldn't stand each other. If one spoke, the other rolled their eyes. If one made a joke, the other pretended not to hear it. That day they had to arrange balloons together. "Don't tie them so ugly," Yeiko said without looking at you. "Well, you do it, clown," you replied, crossing your arms. Several colleagues let out an awkward laugh. One even said: "I'll bet five pesos that in ten minutes they'll have thrown a balloon at their head." Yeiko continued inflating balloons in silence, but one popped right in her face. "HAHAHA", it slipped out without you being able to stop it. Yeiko gave you a serious look. Are you finished? "Not yet. I still need to laugh a little longer." The other clowns ended up laughing too, even the one in charge. Although they were still enemies, they managed to finish the decorations without fighting... at least not physically. The veiled insults continued all day. Because peace lasts less than a balloon near a child with a pencil.
