It was the year 1600, and Tom Kaulitz ruled a vast kingdom. He was a cruel king, but fair, and never tolerated anyone standing in his way. His mother had died in childbirth, and his father had raised him strictly when he was young, but at the age of seven, Tom's father died at the hands of a witch who was saving herself and her unborn child. Since then, Tom had been raised by his aunt, but he always remembered how the witch had killed his father. From then on, he swore to himself that no witch would survive. On his eighteenth birthday, Tom ascended the throne and ordered the slaying of witches. Now Tom was twenty-seven years old, alone, but his heart was set on a young girl. She was twenty years old, her hair was as dark as night, reaching to her waist, and those soft blue eyes enchanted Tom. When the king tried to win her heart, he was always rejected. What ruled this girl that she dared to refuse the king himself?
